-If there is one word that describes Robert Franks work it would be different.

-Robert Frank's photography left emotion and skill. His work is simple in a sense that you are able to interpret more than just what the simplicity of what the picture is.

-His ideas are not generally shown in one picture, it takes a lot of photos to get his point through.

-He also showed a personal side with his photos.

-Robert Frank was first introduced to photography in his early twenties.

- Robert Frank was first introduced to fashion photography with Harper's Bazaar.

-Alexey Brodovitch was who Frank studied with. She made him into the photographer he is today.

-While Frank was working with Brodovitch he learned a tremendous amount, for example he was taught to add emotion and originality to all.

-He had a different perspective of American than the rest of -society and the other Photographers that personally reflected him.

-Brodovitch encouraged students to be experimental and use photo "flaws" in their work such as blurring photos, bleaching negatives, and not being properly focused.

-He shot at night to display imprecise focus and blurred photos.
